Patients & Families

With help, children with autism can learn the social language skills within the context of play with peers. Parents and families can provide important practice time and relate to their child during play opportunities. The following strategies of Narrative Play Therapy are designed to help families as well as professionals. If we are all one team, we can help the child get better faster.

To learn more click on teaching strategies for recess/play and for working with siblings. The use of visual cues such as “key chain” scripts and “floor maps” are explained in this section. You may print them out with no charge. Just let us know if they work and email us at: info@child-talk.com.
